Beloved Community

Radical Hospitality — COME AND BELONG

Beloved Community is the spiritual community of Tikkun Farm—a community of companionship for people who want to do the inner work of becoming more fully human while walking alongside others doing the same.

We practice radical hospitality. You do not have to arrive with certainty, the right language, or a particular religious identity. We make room for unanswered questions, contemplative practice, sacred texts, silence, shared food, Creation, and the ordinary experience of learning to love and be loved.

Creation is part of our spiritual life here—not simply a backdrop, but a living community in which we listen, notice, care, connect, and encounter the Sacred.

Community Meals

We gather several times a year for Community Meals. Sometimes we gather to cook together, other times it’s potluck. We share our stories, break bread and bless one another.

These gatherings help us Remember Who We Are. The Beloved Community at Tikkun Farm intends to be a community of companionship for pilgrims committed to engaging in the spiritual inner work that increases our capacity to see the presence of Love in all things. We welcome all pilgrims seeking companionship on this inward journey bringing us home to our truest selves.

Spiritual Practice

Rhythm and Ritual Belong Together

Rhythm, like a clock, creates the order that rituals need to occur. Rituals, the numbers on the clock, sanctify time with prayers and blessing, festivals, confessions, welcomings and good-byes. Together they create a sacred order that holds us and grows us.

There are common rhythms and practices that help us grow into our wise mind. While some rituals are practiced individually and others are shared communally, the fact that we practice them, wherever we are, reminds us that we share a common journey.

In addition to rituals that support pilgrims on the growing path, Tikkun Farm offers additional opportunities for worship, prayer, and spiritual practice that nurture the spiritual lives pilgrims.

These rhythms and rituals serve two purposes: To support the work of growing into our fully human selves by engaging in spiritual practices, and to support pilgrims by offering opportunities to gather and celebrate with others consciously doing this same work,
