The Zone and Tikkun After-School Program
Elementary Students
Tikkun Farm partners with the Mt. Healthy Alliance to offer children in our community a safe and supportive place to gather after school. Students sign up with the Alliance for the AfterSchool program, and the Alliance brings them to the farm once a week. An afternoon on the farm begins with yoga to help students transition from a stressful day in school to a joyful experience on the farm. After yoga, students break into small groups and spend time visiting the animals and working on nature projects.

After-School Drop-In
Jr. & Sr. High Schoolers
Tikkun Farm also offers an After-School Drop-In, Tuesday-Friday, 3-5pm. They will find a snack, a welcoming adult, and a farm project. Some days they just visit the animals, another day they make cookies in the kitchen, and sometimes they discover an art project waiting for them in the art room. Regardless of what they’re “doing,” they discover safety, respect, love, and acceptance.
Family Farm Days
Saturdays, 10am-3pm: Spring, Fall, and Summer
We believe Tikkun Farm’s restorative experiences offer the most benefits when families do them together. A family day on the farm begins with yoga. Wiggly preschoolers, active children, and adults trying yoga for the first time, will be amazed by Tiffany’s ability to create an experience accessible for every member of the family.
After yoga, families take a farm tour, meet the animals, and then dig into a variety of experiences including art, a nature project, preparing a meal together, and drumming.
The cost is $125/family and includes a breakfast snack and lunch. Click this link to see available dates and sign up.
